Well, we don’t mean to perpetuate the well-edited plotline that Traci Des Jardins and Naomi Pomeroy are actually rivals, but the two have been cast as adversaries on this third season of Top Chef Masters, mostly because they’re the two female chefs who have won the most the challenges. You get Naomi making excuses like, “Well, Traci’s been in the kitchen about ten years longer than I have…” and Traci mentioning that Naomi’s winning streak is “surprising” given she’s the “least experienced” in the group. Anyway, they’re friends! Really! And on Wednesday, Naomi’s taking a jaunt down to S.F. from her Portland restaurant Beast in order to cook a meal alongside Traci at Jardinière. Added bonus for the evening: Chronicle columnist Leah Garchik and Inside Scoop blogger Paolo Lucchesi will be guest bartending!

The details are as follows: The five-course, prix fixe menu by Traci and Naomi, which will be served in addition to Jardiniere’s regular menu, will be $85 per person, exclusive of wine, tax, and gratuity. Optional wine pairings are $35. The restaurant opens at 5:30 p.m. for the festivities, tomorrow, May 18.

Garchik and Lucchesi will be slinging a special drink called the 25th Palm for $9, with proceeds going to Human Rights Watch.

Also, there’ll be an albondigas torta food pairing in the bar for an additional $9.
