While the literary set clamored to get into Elaine’s last night, a less seasoned crowd of Ray-Ban wearers queued up for the Frying Pan. Seen here is the epic line (which continues onto the gangplank) after the barge and boat reached capacity around 7 p.m. yesterday. It was over 100 strong, and if you don’t believe it, take a look at the photo below, taken near the front of the line.
Golly, jeepers! Remember the days when you could take over the boat for your birthday for a few hundred dollars? Now you’re lucky if you get onto it at all.
