There’s been evidence that Morimoto and Buddakan restaurateur Stephen Starr is zeroing in on New York again, and today comes confirmation from the man himself. Starr tells Fox News, “In New York, we’re about to announce next week two new restaurants we’re doing here. They’ll be smaller than Buddakan and Morimoto, but equally as impressive in terms of concept, both from a design standpoint and culinarily.” These are probably the restaurants at the Puck Building and the New York Historical Society, but we’ll share full details when we have them.
