Spanish Kitchen is turning Pink Taco’s controversial donkey into donkey-ade, offering a $30, three-course “Defend the Donkey” dinner this Thursday night, May 12th, to benefit PETA. Catch two versions of the restaurant’s staples prepared for vegans and one dessert called “Save the Burros Churros.” A manager tells us the event is not a dig at Pink Taco, so much as just “all in good fun for a great cause.” [Spanish Kitchen]
