Tacos Lupita Changes Its Name; Met Gets Crabby

Somerville: Tacos Lupita will now be known as Aguate Verde. Menu and staff will stay the same, we hope. [Chowhound via BRT]

Back Bay:
If you crave crabs, Met Back Bay is the place to be. Their Soft Shall Crab Festival happens until June 23, with soft-shell crabs cooked a different way every evening. Other restaurants in the MET Restaurant Group empire will follow suit. [Fork Lift]

Jamaica Plain: Tres Gatos, JP’s favorite tapas temple, will now serve lunch. [Grub Street]
Downtown: Dore Creperie will open at the corner of Beacon and Tremont streets in early June, slinging lunch and dessert crepes. [Dorecreperie/Twitter]

South End: Speculation continues about Rocca. Aquitaine Group told us that they’re not doing anything with the space (yet), but Boston Chefs notes via Industry Insider that they’re looking for a GM to head up an “exciting new concept.” We’ll keep you posted! [Boston Chefs]

Seaport: We’d be remiss not to mention that the American Craft Beer Fest happens next weekend. And that you should begin preparing now. [Beer Advocate]

Back Bay:
Clio, whose redesign we told you about here, just rolled out a 32-page cocktail menu courtesy their inventive mixologist, Todd Maul. [Feast]

Dedham: The Somerville branch of Sagra closed a few months ago, and now the relatively new Dedham branch is also shutting down. It will be replaced with the appealingly named Grumpy Cactus. [BRT]

North Cambridge: Bengal Cafe will be replaced by a currently unnamed Italian eatery, with “homemade pasta and homemade bread.” [BRT]
