Things are moving forward up on North Broad Street, where restaurant titans Stephen Starr and Marc Vetri are both working on projects. According to the Insider, Vetri will call his Italian gastropub Alla Spina, which in Italian means beer taps. Until now the project was going by the working title Birerria 600. Stephen Starr, who is working on a casual seafood spot in the same space is reportedly moving away from the Route 6 name mentioned when the project was first announced. In other naming news, Swanky Bubbles, which we told you was losing its silly name as part of Spike TV’s Bar Makeover, was rechristened Sheer. [Insider]
