Momed, home of that incredible duck schwarma that makes our life worth living, is turning one next Tuesday and yes, there will be a party. To commemorate the occasion, Momed is holding a benefit event for Japan called “365 Eat Share Peace.” Included at the party will be beer, wine, and a table spread with the restaurant’s most popular eats. Entry is $30, but doesn’t come in the form of a ticket, but through a t-shirt designed by local artist Sophia Gasparian, currently available on sale at the restaurant. 100% of the proceeds from the shirt’s sales will go to US-Japan Council Earthquake Relief Fund and the American Red Cross/Southern Tornado Relief. Tuesday, May 31, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Momed.
