VH1 is using our restaurants against us in an effort to make Angelenos look stupid (again). No matter that word of our dynamic restaurant scene has spread around the country in the last couple of years and convinced a few people to flush away their tired stereotypes of the city. Nope! Instead, VH1 is staffing a Dolce restaurant with people like Heidi Montag and Ashley Dupre, which is sure to get both viewers and diners interested in the side of L.A. we like to pretend doesn’t exist. But somehow that’s not the worst of it. There’s also a show about the exploits of Saddle Ranch on television these days. The horror! Really, if someone wanted to give gonorrhea a starring role after all these years, they really should have made it a cartoon or something.
