Gunners Run, the team effort from concert promoter dudes Bryan Dilworth and Tim Borror, and tattoo artist Jason Goldberg that filled the void left by Swift Half earlier this year at the Piazza, has hired replacement for outgoing chef Shawn Sollberger. Her name is Sarah Mays, and according to a prepared statement, she cut her culinary teeth at FARMiCiA and later Artisserie Bakery & Café. At her new post, she’s bringing in some of her comfort food favorites for a menu upgrade. Somewhat related, former Plenty chef and onetime Culinary Director at Philly Kitchen Share Tim McGinnis checked in to inform us that his position at the East Passyunk Ave. take-out joint was “cut,” and he did not “step down” as we had reported earlier.
