Closings

Double Monday Bummer: Haru and Italian Bistro Both Closed Over the Weekend

This weekend saw two long-time dining fixtures close up shop. Haru, the Old City outpost of New York’s sushi and modern Japanese restaurant, closed after service on Saturday night, the Insider reports. Its closing ends a six-year run. Across town, the Italian Bistro, which has been at Broad and Walnut for longer than anyone can remember, closed on Sunday. Foobooz reports that rumors are afoot that the space is being taken over by University of the Arts.
