Does Prune Contain New York’s Worst Table?

The staff over at the Post must not have gotten enough sunshine this weekend. First, they’re carrying on about servers ditching notepads, and now they’re naming the worst table in New York — at recent James Beard award winner Gabrielle Hamilton’s downtown darling, Prune. Tucked at the end of a standard listicle of best NYC tables (the Lion’s second-floor fourteen-seater, the corner booths at Minetta, etc.) is a mini-rant about Prune’s “sad walk-ins-only two-seater sandwiched between the front door, the bar, a wall and passersby en route to their reserved tables.” Has the Hamilton backlash begun already?
