Dell’Anima Crew in at Nolitan Hotel


According to Zagat Buzz, the crew behind dell’anima, Anfora, and L’Artusi (minus Joey Campanale) is opening a “semi-fine-dining” Italian concept in the Nolitan Hotel, in lieu of the Jimmy Bradley nonstarter J & S Food Hall. Look for a June opening.

Update: A rep clarifies that Ellabess will be a “seasonal American restaurant” helmed by dell’anima’s chef de cuisine Troy Unruh. Though the restaurant will be operated by Epicurean Management Company, the hospitality company that counts Joe Campanale and Gabe Thompson as partners in dell’anima, L’Artusi and Anfora, Campanale and Thompson will not be involved here, and will “continue to focus their efforts on [those restaurants], as well as the development of other projects with Epicurean.”
