Spring has sprung in Philly, and with its bountiful blossoms, it urges us to look past the strong, fortifying elixirs we kept ourselves warm with in colder months, and move on to brighter, lighter and seasonally appropriate tipples. Fortunately for us, our best barkeeps have a bevy of springy beverages that they’ve been working on to wet our whistles in warmer weather. Even better: We convinced some of our bartenders to share their best technicolor concoctions with us.
We’re not sure if everyone will want to make all of these drinks at home (unless they’re into juicing cucumbers, à la JG Domestic), but we’re nothing if not completists. (We should mention that while we’ve edited each of the recipes to make them as easy as possible to follow, we haven’t gotten the chance to test each and every one — we always get about five or six in, and then things get … a little giddy and hazy.)
