Good news, seniors! No longer will you be forced to go to grocery stores full of young people. City Councilwoman Gale Brewer has rounded up a list of 23 Upper West Side grocery stores and organized them according to the amenities that might be appealing to senior citizens — senior discounts, single portions of meat and fish, handicap-accessible restrooms. And the pamphlet is apparently doing quite well! It’s actually sort of a sweet idea — and it’s so nice to finally see a New York grocery guide that doesn’t mention Eataly. [City Room/NYT]
