Top Chef Alums Unite for Japan

Top Chef season-one contestant (and former New York Diet subject) Candice Kumai has rounded up a group of her Top Chef friends for Eat+Pray+Heal Japan, a fund-raising event next Thursday, April 14, at the Bowery Hotel. Top Chef winners Harold Dieterle, Hung Huynh, and Kevin Sbraga, as well as favorites Mike Isabella, and Angelo Sosa and Top Chef: Just Desserts’ Seth Caro will provide the food, with DJs Mick Boogie and Terry Urban providing the entertainment. Tickets are $75 in advance and $100 at the door, with all proceeds going to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, to support programs for children affected by the March 11 earthquake and its terrible aftermath. Tickets and event info are available here.
