Think Scott Harris only opens joints in Little Italy that serve Italian food? Well, that’s not entirely true, and the image will really be shattered once his latest place opens. Chicago Magazine is reporting that the restaurateur is going to open Ethyl’s Wine & Beer Dive in the West Loop. Talking to the magazine, Harris said it’s a dive bar because it’s “just a place. No frills, no thrills.” There we go. He’s partnering with Luigi Negroni and Donnie Kruze for the venture, which should feature fried chicken and barbecue. It plans to open on June 1.
