Humbodlt Park: Starting on May 15, Rootstock will get into the Sunday brunch game. According to The Feast, the restaurant will offer an abbreviated menu along with “some seasonal variation of an omelet and frittata.” Also expect mimosas and a variation on a bloody mary. [The Feast]
Gold Coast: To celebrate its 14th anniversary, Hugo’s Frog Bar & Fish House is teaming up with Frog’s Leap Winery for a series of “seasonal specials” throughout May. Entrees include soft shell crab, halibut en papillote, and a New York Sirloin. Plus, guests will be able to enter a raffle to win tickets to a Frog’s Leap Wine Dinner, which is valued at $350.
Various Locations: John des Rosiers may be currently taking over the northern suburbs with various locations of Wisma, but we know be able to sample some of his food inside the Chicago city limits. Eater is reporting that he is planning to launch a food truck, which should serve some freshly made soups and salads. [Eater]
