Research Proves It! Beer Is Better Than Water!

Believe us: We know how physically and emotionally taxing it is to get into bikini shape after months of overindulgent cold-weather hibernation. But now you needn’t be afraid to ease your flabby nerves with a beer after an intense workout. At least, that’s what researchers at Granada University in Spain are saying. In a recent study, they discovered that beer given to students following a workout had a better hydration effect than water. They determined beer’s bubbles quenched the students’ thirsts more quickly, and that the carbohydrates contained in a pint of suds compensated for calories burned off during exercise.
