The Times Local ran some snapshots of Moe’s closing party today, and it looks like the joint was jumpin’ last night. We called to make sure it was definitely, definitely down for the count, and yep, the line has been disconnected. Oh, noes, Moe’s! We do give the place props, however, for updating their website with a shot of Homer drinking at the original cartoon Moe’s, along with a quote from George Bernard Shaw: “Alcohol is the anesthesia by which we endure the operation of life.” And with that uplifting sentiment, enjoy your weekend!
