Mission Bowling Club to Feature the Famed Mission Burger and a Menu by Anthony Myint

We know everyone got real excited about the news that Mini Bar proprietors Sommer Peterson and Molly Bradshaw would be opening a bowling alley and lounge in the Mission, and now Tablehopper brings word about their new chef partner, and the location. Mission Bowling Club, as it will be called, is going into a converted warehouse at 3176 17th Street (near South Van Ness) by next spring, or thereabouts. The food program will be done by none other than Anthony Myint (Mission Street Food, Mission Chinese Food, Commonwealth), featuring both the beloved Mission Burger (which was sold for a while at Duc Loi supermarket until Myint and partner Danny Bowien got caught up in other projects) as well as other “technique-driven comfort food.” Furthermore, kids will only be allowed in this bowling alley on weekend before 7 p.m., and otherwise it’s going to be a 21+ establishment.
