On Sunday, May 1, they’ll present a special one-day market named Floralia, mixing veteran vendors like Sullivan St. Bakery and Brooklyn Cured with newcomers like Kings County Jerky and Anarchy in a Jar. Flatiron: Starting this week, Nuela is introducing a new Sunday brunch called Mimosa. The meal is a decidedly gay-friendly one, with 10 percent of proceeds benefitting rotating LGBT charities. Fort Greene: The online trip planners at EscapeMaker will host “Green Getaways,” a free food-and-travel expo, this Saturday at Skylight One Hanson at 1 Hanson Place, in the old Williamsburgh Savings Bank Tower. Park Slope: Travelers from the Kuhnhenn Brewing Company in Michigan will visit Beer Table this Wednesday at 8 p.m. for an informal dinner event. A three-course meal will be paired with Kuhnhenn beers, with their rare Bourbon Barrel Aged 4th Dementia Old as the centerpiece. The event will be walk-in only. [Grub Street]

Tribeca: To celebrate Perrier-Jouët’s 200th year of Champagne production, the Noble Rot will throw a bubbly party next Wednesday, May 4, at David Bouley’s Test Kitchen on 88 West Broadway.
