Its menu is blessedly short, as it offers only hot dogs, Italian beefs, and freshly cut fries. • Ready for more artisanal coffee? Eater reports that the Philadelphia-based La Colombe, will be opening up both a cafe and a roasting facility soon. It’ll be located along W. Randolph in the West Loop and plans to open in mid-May. [Eater]

• Real Naked Food, an organic grocery store located in Wicker Park, opened quietly this week, but it is planning a “Grand Opening Celebration” on Friday to coincide with Earth Day.
