Sake and Beer: Together at Last

Finally! Two years of tinkering at the Cambridge Brewing Co. have produced what brewer Will Meyers calls an actual beer-sake hybrid. Sounds weird, but the properties of sake and beer aren’t so dissimilar. “We wanted a beer that tastes more like sake than it does beer,” Meyers told the Herald. But watch out: at 15 percent alcohol the hybrid brew (hy-brew?) is so strong, it’s only being served five ounces at a time. [Herald]
