We initially thought Roxy’s grilled-cheese food truck would hit the streets last summer and we’ve been waiting anxiously since. Today, we have confirmation from Chief Cheese Griller/Owner James DiSabatino that, yes, his grilled-cheese truck will hit the streets tomorrow. Oh yes. You’ll find the truck at Cleveland Circle’s Cassidy Playground from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. In honor of the big day, Roxy’s even doling out free tomato soup to complement their cheesy creations. And what might those be, you ask? DiSabatino tells Grub Street to expect a mac and chorizo melt (cheddar mac and cheese, grilled chorizo, carmelized onions), a kona kroque melt (smoked gouda, peppered black forest ham, baby pineapple and red onion), and Nutella cheesecake.
