Introducing Rabbi Mints, a ‘Mitzvah for Your Mouth’

If whitefish salad ever leaves you with that unfresh feeling, consider popping a Rabbi Mint. These “mitzvahs for your mouth” (and presumably for the noses of others around you) were developed in part by a guy named, no joke, Rabbi Mintz (along with ad-world guru Richard Kirshenbaum), and they’re made in Brooklyn under kosher supervision. Tins go for $2.50 each at Barney Greengrass, Carnegie Deli, and Fischer Bros. butcher. Though Altoid-like in appearance, the taste is just mildly minty, and side effects may include sudden religious zeal.
