Ok, this reference is going to date us, but doesn’t this awesome tile being installed at Locanda look like the cube pyramid from early video game Q*Bert? Just nod your heads. Delfina’s Roman sibling is still aiming for April 19, and while they work on their website, they’ve got a Twitter feed and Tumblr thing set up providing some ramp-up highlights (e.g., a photo of chef Anthony Strong meeting with owner Craig Stoll to test out desserts). Also of note, Annie Stoll tweets the pic of the tile being installed, and we find the announcement that they’ll be doing a preview event, at least featuring some of Brian McGregor’s cocktails, on Sunday March 27 from 8 p.m. on at Blackbird.
