We first spotted some construction activity last month at the long-shuttered Jazz at Pearl’s space (256 Columbus Avenue) in North Beach, and today the liquor license gods bestow some answers. As the Scoop finds, former owner Peter Haramis, who presided over Greek Taverna years ago in that very same spot, appears to be back and planning to reopen it as Greek Taverna. What with the resurrection of The Lineup, years after it closed, in its former digs at 7th and Harrison, is this some kind of trend?
