With the way Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant has repeatedly dodged Philly for the last 15 years while assembling an impressive empire on its periphery, we suspected the brewpub chain was purposely avoiding us. Well, it turns out that they really like us. They really, really like us. They’ve picked Germantown Ave. for their next location, and by the year’s end, we’ll finally have the luxury of pounding their Pig Iron Porters and scarfing their wood-fired pizzas without the hassle of hiking it out to the ’burbs.
