Pity the poor working stiffs laboring away around Santa Monica Blvd. and San Vicente when it comes lunchtime. The options are pretty weak, with Tender Greens a little limited in its pricey options and not-so-great spots like Hunger shuttering from domination by Quiznos and Subway. Fresh Corn Grill opened its second location here last Wednesday and could save the day with its big menu of dishes loaded with fresh veggies and quality product. The space has increased in size from the Westwood original in an open space designed by owner and chef Josh Kleinberg. Same menu as Westwood here, with a selection of healthy comfort eats that start on corn chowder and butternut squash soup and include massive salads with grilled chicken, shrimp, and skirt steak, plus a mix of tacos, enchiladas, sandwiches, pastas, pizza, and side dishes of simple grilled vegetables.
