Ferran Adrià Is in Town!!

Nathan Myhrvold isn’t the only “modernist” chef who’s in town this week (witness his appearance on the Feast, the Colbert Show, and Today, plus a Diner’s Journal post about whether local chefs are buying his cookbook). If you haven’t already heard, the Spanish master of molecular gastronomy Ferran Adrià is in New York as well, eating waffles and promoting Lisa Abend’s new book about working in the kitchen at El Bulli. As this photo of Despaña’s current window display suggests, we’re not the only ones who are excited.
