Look at that! With all the book craziness, and that completely rehabbed GTO, we kind of forgot that Grant Achatz was just about to open a brand new restaurant. Last time he shared a view inside of Next, it still had a long way to go. But this picture shows a lot of improvement, especially with the lighting. In other Next news, Nick Kokonas claimed at the book signing event at the Harold Washington Library that the restaurant might open around “April first-ish.” That’s certainly not a definite date, but we’ll take what we can get. Obviously, there is a still lot of work to be done, but we are starting to be able to actually imagine eating there now. [GAchatz/Twitter]
