Capital Grille Stakes Its Claim on the Hynes

We’d initially reported that the Capital Grille would relocate to the corner of Boylston and Dalton streets this summer. But now even grander plans are in store for the steakhouse, which has anchored Newbury Street for the past 20 years. More ahead.

According to Patch via Adam’s Hospitality, Capital Grille will move into the Hynes Convention Center. (Jasper White and Lydia Shire’s Towne is already ensconced there.)

The new restaurant will double in size and boast a 32-seat patio; maybe we’ll dine al fresco once we tire of exploring Boston’s slew of Mexican spots with outdoor seating. Look for the new and improved venue in August.
