Last month, we told you all about Michael Schlow’s newest Latin/Spanish/Mexican-influenced venture, Tico, where he’ll exercise his passion for unconventional tacos and unusual small plates. The Back Bay spot soft-opens today, with a kickoff party open to the public on February 15. Proceeds from the launch party—tickets go for $200 a pop—benefit the Greg Hill Foundation, which reacts quickly to help local families touched by tragedy. (Schlow’s on the board.) Stop in tonight, or if you’re feeling generous, make plans for the charity launch party here.
