While World’s Fare, Serious Eats, and photographer Stella Dacuma Schour run photos from the Flushing Mall Grazing Experience, The Wall Street Journal follows up on last week’s DNA Info report that the mall (and its food court) will be razed to create parking for the $800 million construction of Flushing Commons. For foodies, it’s the neighborhood’s biggest loss since the Roosevelt Food Court closed a couple of years ago. Maybe now’s the time for someone to translate some of the menus at the nearby Golden Mall’s storied food court into English? Is there an app for that?
