Thelonious Monkfish and Other Curiously Named Restaurants: Music to Our Ears?

Ha ha! We laughed out loud when reading about this brand-new Asian fusion place in Central Square called Thelonious Monkfish, which promises “jazz for the palate.” Yeah, except monkfish is on Seafood Watch’s “avoid” list! So, which restaurants do you think need the Don Draper treatment?

We’re not talking about the-jokes-write-themselves places, like Pu Pu Hot Pot. We mean unfortunate advertising. Bad imagery. Places that make you wonder what the creative team was thinking. Example: While we’re quite excited to welcome 5 Napkin, for instance, do you really want to picture a pillow of toiletry products when biting into a juicy burger? Any other nominees?
