So Long, Sensing

Sensing at the Fairmont Battery Wharf will close, per a release. Chef Guy Martin, who launched the restaurant, plans to “focus on new projects outside of Boston.” Apparently, a new Italian Mediterranean restaurant called Aragosta will take its place come springtime, with David Daniels, currently working on Nantucket, at the helm. Looks like Sensing’s current chef de cuisine, Gerard Barbin, won’t be involved whatsoever.
