Jimmy Fallon (and his entire family) are going to be on Top Chef: All Stars tomorrow night, and thus Gail Simmons made an appearance on his show last night to discuss his stint as guest judge — they avoid any spoilers about the actual food by using the codename “meatloaf.” Gail says Jimmy was too nice to the chef-testants, and he really needs to grow a pair and learn to be as mean as her. “I’m in the business of crushing peoples’ dreams,” quips Simmons. We especially like the bit about how, at one point, Jimmy’s dad apparently said, “I really liked the tortilla soup,” and the producers had to be like, “Bill, we didn’t have tortilla soup.”
