Following news that its lease was up, we sorta thought Hermosa Beach’s 20-year-old Ragin Cajun Cafe was calling it quits to focus on the mobile operation that landed it on The Great Food Truck Race. South Bay Foodies reports the good news that the business is actually relocating north to Plaza El Segundo, across from Whole Foods. The shuttered cafe’s outgoing voicemail predicts an opening this spring, while the website has some more news: Apparently, Ragin’ Cajun is bringing its fried gator to a new location Downtown. Nice to see a local hero hitting the ever-blossoming district before Bubba Gump wades into the water.
