Paty’s Bites Back, Sues City

After getting ticketed out of the Upper East Side and then returning only to be towed once more, Paty’s is suing the city, according to DNA Info. The Street Vendor Project, which is repping the truck pro bono (though we hope there’s at least a torta in it for them) believes that the statute under which the truck has been ticketed applies to vendors of merchandise, not food. Ah yes, the old “Crazy Burrito” loophole. [DNA Info]
