In T’s roundup of the country’s best bánh mì (which can apparently be found in Seattle, Portland, New Orleans, Atlanta, San Jose, Los Angeles, and San Francisco), Jordan Michelman says “beware the bánh mì over $6,” but seems to make an exception for the ones at Baoguette ($6 plus tax) and Momofuku Ssäm Bar (also given shout-outs: Ba Xuyen and Tan Thanh in Sunset Park). Nicky’s Vietnamese doesn’t get a mention, but EV Grieve brings news from that operation: They’ve opened Nicky’s Pho at 213 East 4th Street between A and B.
