Those who won’t schlep to the ‘burg to see Blue Bottle’s mad scientist’s lab of a coffee bar should know Manhattan is getting another source for the Bay Area roaster’s coveted brew. When co-working space and “urban campus” General Assembly rolls out its café next month, there’ll be Blue Bottle–trained baristas slinging the company’s java. Unfortunately, the eatery will be mostly just for General Assembly members, though plebes who sign up for public programs and classes will also have access. So if all the young tech entrepreneurs seem to get even more fired up, now you’ll know what they’re drinking.
General Assembly, 902 Broadway, at 20th St., fourth fl.
