Later Nights in the North End; 51 Lincoln Raises the Bar


In this week’s edition of Neighborhood Watch, we learn that a couple of North End restaurants get to stay open later (despite those protests we told you about), 51 Lincoln spiffs up its bar area, and much more. News ahead.

North End: Tresca and Vinoteca di Monica can now serve booze until 12:30 a.m. Thursdays through Saturdays, perhaps to the chagrin of sleepy residents. [Boston Hospitality]

Newton: 51 Lincoln has a spiffed-up bar menu with new charcuterie and cheese options, plus two new Harpoon taps. [Boston Chefs]
