Century City: Sen Asian Kitchen opened last Monday with a ten-seat sushi bar, Chinese meat dishes, udon, hand-rolls, veggie servings, and fried rice bowls. An early look indicates a need for some time to smooth out issues, even though they’re taking your money today. [Squid Ink]
Eagle Rock Brewery: Classes on “the relationship between ingredients, techniques, and calculations” will be held on February 22nd to help brewers create their own recipes. [Feast]

Glendale: Minx, the cooler cousin to Carousel, has closed its doors, though still survived by its Glendale forebear. [Feast]

Manhattan Beach: Troy Thompson, last seen as chef at L’Ermitage and The Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey, has replaced Makoto Okuwa as executive chef at Sashi Sushi. [Feast]
San Gabriel: Bamboodles has closed and with it goes the hand-made noodle display and the restaurant’s green tea pork noodle soup. It has been replaced by Yu Pin while searching for a new location. [Squid Ink]
Venice: Its exact fate still appears rather unclear, but nonetheless, Axe plans to come back in two months following the fire damage, even though it’s also for sale. [Eater]
West Hollywood: Craig’s opened on Melrose under former Dan Tana’s maitre’d Craig Susser. Here you’ll find hot-wing pizza and honey truffle-fried chicken in a New York-styled, sixties space with an industry clientele to match. Renny Harlin is a big fan of the pasta, too. [Feast]
