No more small tables!

After just building an Italian wine bar in the basement of Francesca’s on Chestnut, Scott Harris is at it again, this time closing Fracesca’s Forno in Wicker Park. According to The Feast, Harris is chasing after the successful formula of The Purple Pig and Davanti Enoteca, so expect “communal tables, antipasta, and cheap wine.” While it might seem like a drastic move for a restaurant that seems to be constantly busy as it is, we’re kind of loving this impassioned Harris. He’s certainly on a hot streak. Anyway, the retooled restaurant should be ready by spring or summer. [The Feast]
