TMZ reports that a singing waitress at Ellen’s Stardust Diner found herself out of a job after she took time off to audition for American Idol. Meanwhile, the Daily News has an item about two Boom Boom Room waitresses who allege in a lawsuit that they were unlawfully terminated because their five-foot-four, 125-pound figures didn’t measure up to alleged requirements that waitresses be “willowy, svelte and statuesque runway models.” But really, how picky can Andre Balazs be about women if he’s making out with Chelsea Handler?
