This image is from back in 2007, when BED was clearing out its things, but it seems the once-hot West Chelsea space is coming back to life. We last heard about it over two years ago, when the 1 Oak and Mansion teams were supposedly vying for it, but now the Post reports that the One Group (STK, Asellina, etc.) will open a 5,000-square-foot rooftop restaurant with “landscaped, traditional English garden” in May. Up, as it’s tentatively being called, is just one of six restaurants they plan to open by summer.
