Civic Center: Tomorrow night, Jardinière is launching Wednesday Wine Nights, in which bottles from a particular region will be 50% off the list price between 7:30 and 10 p.m. (tough luck, opera- and ballet-goers!). The first region featured will be Burgundy, followed by future forays to Spain, Australia, Germany, the Loire Valley, etc. [Grub Street]

Mission: Nombe is temporarily closed for two weeks while Vincent Schofield takes over the kitchen. (The whole team is actually in Tokyo doing some food research.) [Scoop, Earlier]

SoMa: Alexander’s Steakhouse (448 Brannan) has a $35 prime rib meal deal on Sundays. [Eater]

Also, Mercury Lounge (1582 Folsom) is hosting a 10-course Filipino Dishcrawl ($45) on January 30. [Dishcrawl via SFoodie]

Hayes Valley: Hayes & Kebab (580 Hayes) has reopened, after closing and moving up the street. Kebabs of Hayes Valley, which opened in their old digs at 406 Hayes, remains open. [Tablehopper]

Union Square: Armani Café, the café at Emporio Armani is no more. [CHOW]

Walnut Creek: Bing Crosby’s, the enormous piano bar and restaurant which was owned by the same people who owned (and recently closed) Joe DiMaggio’s, has shuttered. [Scoop]
