Sushirrito and Grand Prix Coming to Downtown, Half of Napa Is Closed, and More

Downtown/FiDi: Sushirrito (59 New Montgomery) is opening up next week, right next to House of Shields, serving up large hand-rolls wrapped in nori, stuffed with raw or cooked seafood, that they’re calling Japanese burritos. [Tablehopper]

Grand Prix, another Euro-motor-scooter-themed coffee stand serving Blue Bottle, is opening on Tillman Place in February. [SFoodie]

Bernal Heights: A gluten-free/vegan bakery called Special Request has just opened at 331 Cortland. [Tablehopper]

Mission: The just-opened Flying Pig Bistro has decent stuffed cabbage, and the Russian owner just moved from Brooklyn, where he also owns a few places. [SFoodie]

Napa: Various places are closed up in wine country this week and this month, for winter break, including the French Laundry, Press, and étoile. [Press-Dem]

And Terra is using their winter break to add a full bar, called Bar Terra, which opens next week on January 21. [Scoop]
