A nasty fight that began in a restaurant or bar on Sunset Blvd. at Portia Street in Echo Park lead to two men being stabbed, KABC reports, with both victims expected to survive their wounds. The name of the restaurant has so far been kept mum, while L.A. Weekly points to potential suspects Phnom Penh and beloved dive Little Joy, given their proximity to the crime scene. The latter answer might be more plausible given an LAPD lieutenant’s report that the fight was “joined by patrons of a bar over near” the intersection prior to incident turning nearly lethal.
