Woman Sues McDonald’s After Drive-Through Showdown

Talk about a bad morning. A woman rolled up to a McDonald’s on the West Side at 3:50 a.m. yesterday and attempted to order a cheeseburger. Now, as we all know, McDonald’s doesn’t serve burgers for breakfast. Apparently an employee told her in an “aggressive and unfriendly tone” about this policy. Then the woman tried to order a ham, egg, and cheese bagel, which doesn’t exist. The employee yelled at her again. Finally, the customer ordered a bagel with bacon and pulled around to pick it up. That’s when the employee “screamed, stuck her head out of the window, and spit in her face.” The woman is now suing McDonald’s. Of course, these are all allegations at the moment, but what is it about McDonald’s that drives people into such fits? [Trib]
